Gabbar Singh is a remake of Hindi Blockbuster Dabangg where the hero is a police officer. Hindi version had lot of entertainment and foot tapping steps. Harish Shankar said time and again that the hindi version is changed to the nativity of Telugu audience with lots of entertainment. Harish Shankar who directed 2011 blockbuster Mirapakaay is famous for making an entertaining film and has shown Ravi teja extremely well in Mirapakaay.
